Swiss-based VPN service ProtonVPN has announced installation of new servers in new countries, extending its reach into South America, the Middle East, and East Asian regions.

Despite international lockdown measures against the COVID-19 pandemic, ProtonVPN has commissioned 50 new servers including new boxes in Argentina, Mexico, Taiwan, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. These can be accessed with a ProtonVPN Basic, Plus, or Proton Visionary plan.

Meanwhile, users of ProtonVPN Free can access five additional servers in the US, and the service is now available in six new languages. Dutch, French, Italian, Polish, Spanish, and Portuguese can all be activated in the ProtonVPN apps for Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.
